Introduction
Compareit is an ambitious project tasked with evaluating the various methods of aquaculture across the entire value chain. New concepts for aquaculture production systems in Norway include land-based, floating closed, semi-closed, and exposed systems.
Compareit aims to improve and explore aquaculture value chains while assessing linkages to conventional and new production systems.
In doing so potential shortcomings and opportunities related to aquaculture production systems will be assessed.
